Queries

  • Question 1: Why do people lie in front of people who know the truth?
  • Question 2: Why do people assume that if, in response to a question, they keep talking (and talking and talking), the askers will forget they haven't answered the question asked in the first place?
  • Question 3: Why do people lie when it won't actually benefit them in any possible way?

Answer: Because some people get so wrapped up in their lies that they actually start to believe them and lose touch with the line between reality and their fiction......

I know who you are talking about, and I don't think anyone has ever called him on it before. You saw what happened when I said, "That's a lie." He stared blankly and continued speaking. Weird.

I agree with lulu's response, but I think in general these LIARS are so insecure about themselves and their boring lives that they have to make up stories to make themselves appear important and intelligent.
